Schedule Your Inspection

Use the secure Spectora scheduler to request an inspection. If you need help choosing a service or confirming the service area, call, text or email Vaultix first.

BEFORE YOU SCHEDULE

USEFUL CONTEXT.
BEFORE THE NEXT STEP.

Information to have ready

Before opening the scheduler, gather the property address, your contact information, the role you have in the transaction or project, and any timing constraints that matter. If an agent, seller, builder, tenant, or property manager will coordinate access, have that person’s current information available as well. Accurate details help the team understand where the inspection will take place and who should receive appointment communication.

It is also useful to know the approximate property type, size, age, occupancy status, and foundation style when those details are available. Do not guess if you are unsure. Enter what you know, then use the notes area or contact Vaultix directly to clarify anything that may affect access, timing, or the requested service.

Choose the service that fits the property question

A residential home inspection, pre-purchase inspection, new-construction inspection, and 11-month warranty inspection each serves a different point in property ownership. Commercial property inspections have a separate scope. Focused services such as WDIR, radon testing, water-quality testing, indoor-air-quality testing, mold inspection, lead-based paint sampling, and asbestos sampling are not interchangeable with a general home inspection.

Review the appropriate service page before selecting options in the scheduler. If two services sound similar or you are coordinating several evaluations, contact Vaultix first. The team can explain its published service scope and help you identify which scheduling option matches the request without treating a general inspection as laboratory testing or a focused test as a complete property evaluation.

Plan for access and timing

The inspector needs authorized, safe access to the property and to the areas included in the scheduled scope. Confirm lockbox, occupant, builder, or site-access arrangements before the appointment. Construction sites may have phase-specific access rules. Occupied homes may require coordination with the seller or listing agent. Specialized measurements or samples may also involve timing beyond the on-site visit.

Vaultix describes a typical residential inspection as taking two to four hours, although property size, age, condition, foundation type, accessibility, and additional services can change the time required. Radon testing uses a defined monitoring period. Laboratory-based services can have processing time after sampling. Ask about appointment-specific expectations when the timing is important to a contract or closing schedule.

What happens after a request

Submitting the scheduling form sends the requested details through Vaultix’s Spectora scheduling system. Review every entry before completing the request, especially the address, selected services, email address, phone number, and preferred timing. Keep any confirmation or follow-up message so you can refer to it when coordinating access or attendance.

If the property details change, access becomes unavailable, or a deadline moves, contact Vaultix rather than assuming the original request has been updated. After the appointment, the digital report is intended to organize visible findings with supporting photographs and explanations. Use the report and any walkthrough conversation to understand the observations, then consult an appropriate qualified provider when a finding calls for specialized evaluation or repair advice.
