ExploreStart with the decision in front of you
Inspection information is most useful when it answers a real property question. A buyer may want to understand visible conditions before a transaction deadline. A seller may be preparing a home for market. An owner may be planning maintenance, reviewing a builder warranty, or arranging focused testing. Begin with the resource that matches that immediate need rather than trying to read everything at once.
The inspection-process guide explains how an appointment moves from scheduling to the on-site review and digital report. The sample-report page shows how observations, photographs, and recommendations are organized. The checklist focuses on practical preparation. The service pages explain what Vaultix currently offers and help distinguish a general property inspection from focused testing or sampling.
Use the report as a working document
A digital inspection report is not simply a pass-or-fail score. It records visible conditions observed during a defined appointment and gives the client a structured way to review those observations afterward. Read the whole report, including photographs, explanatory notes, limitations, and recommendations. A short summary can help with navigation, but it should not replace the supporting detail.
When a report recommends further evaluation, the next step may involve an appropriately qualified contractor, specialist, laboratory, or other professional. The report supports those conversations; it does not choose a repair, estimate a hidden condition, or make a purchase decision. If wording is unclear, contact Vaultix while the inspection and property are still fresh in mind.
Prepare questions before the appointment
Collect the property address, transaction or project timing, access information, and the service you believe you need. If the property is under construction, confirm the current phase and the builder’s access rules. If you are considering radon, water, mold, lead-based paint, asbestos, indoor air quality, or WDIR services, review the dedicated page so you understand whether the service is an inspection, measurement, sampling process, or report.
Property size, age, foundation type, occupancy, construction phase, and safely accessible areas can affect an appointment. Specialized services may also require placement time, laboratory processing, or separate site conditions. Use the scheduling page to request an appointment, or call, text, or email Vaultix when the right service is not obvious. A short conversation before booking can prevent assumptions and help the team understand the property question you need answered.
